The GSM Palm Pre that was spotted at FCC a while ago was actually meant for the Mexican market. The phone will be released on November 27th; after that we expect it to get unlocked, so that folks in the U.S. (AT&T and T-Mobile subscribers) could enjoy it too.

Officially an exclusive feature of the Motorola DROID, the Google Navigation service has been enabled on the first Android device, the T-Mobile G1. All thanks to XDA development community. Hopefully they'll release a working build for the masses in the near future.

Samsung, one of the few dual-SIM handset manufacturers, will add two new models in its DUOS lineup next month, namely the B5722 and C6112. Both will be available exclusively to European customers, but the price is unknown yet.

The Samsung B5722 comes with a 2.8"  QVGA touch-sensitive screen, 3.2Mpix camera, microSD slot, FM radio and TouchWiz UI, lacks 3G and Wi-Fi functionality, and offers quick access to popular social networks like Facebook and MySpace.

Qualcomm has announced a family of chipsets for "mainstream smartphones", called MSM7x30. Key highlights of those new chipsets will include:

• Support for 800 MHz to 1GHz frequences;
• Support for 720p video encoding / decoding at 30fps;
• Integrated 2D and 3D graphics (with support for OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenVG 1.1);
• 5.1-ch

Motorola is preparing an all-touchscreen device marked as MT710 to be released in China Mobile. It comes with a 3.7" WVGA display, 3G and TD-SCDMA network support, and runs OPhone OS (custom Android version), but other than that we have no other details about it. Stay tuned for more info…
