The Samsung i5700, the handset formerly known as Galaxy Lite has been reportedly renamed to Spica, according to the Italian site Cellularmania, which has posted a large hands-on gallery and a detailed list of specifications.

The phone offers:

• 3" 384 x 240 AMOLED touchscreen;
• HSDPA support;
• 3.2Mpix camera with autofocus;
• 1500 mAh battery;
• Accelerometer;
• GPS;
• FM radio;
• 528MHz Qualcomm processor;
• Android OS

There is no pricing or availability info so far, but we do know that the US release is highly unlikely.

HTC is now offering a selection of 15 replacement covers for the owners of its Tatoo handset. Visit tattoomyhtc.com to choose the best trim for your phone, or if none of them has sparked your interest you can always design your own tatoo right there on the site. These two options will cost you €11.99 (about $18) and €14.99 (about $22), respectively. And mind you, these are not just back covers, but a whole body makeover.

UK retailer Clove has recently announced that it will soon be offering the unlocked contract-free version of the upcoming HTC HD2 smartphone. The handset is said to be available starting November 11 for £469, about $740 US. Note that this is the European version, 3G won't work in the U.S.

It is also known that the HD2 will be hitting O2 later this month and Vodafone in Spain in December.

Sprint is now offering the Motorola i856 Debut, a Nextel Direct Connect PTT slider phone, which is also available from Boost Mobile. You can get it for just $99 after rebate with new contract.

Sprint has added a new color to its Motorola i776. The phone is now available in purple and still costs $80 on contract.
