Good news for Nokia fans: the company has sent out a notice to several US distributors, acording to which its first Maemo handset should hit Nokia distribution centers on September 27th. If everything goes as palnned, we will see the first N900's being shipped to customers in the very beginning of next month. The price you'll pay for being among the first to own  T-Mobile 3G-ready Maemo 5 phone is.

Starting October 1st AT&T customers will be able to get the new Pantech C790 Aladdin, according to PhoneArena. The handset comes with a QWERTY keyboard with the so called numbers pad, which makes it easier to type numbers into messages or text. Other features include a 2Mpix camera, 3G connectivity and Bluetooth support.

Allthough it's not confirmed yet, the expected price tag shouldn't exceed $30 on a 2-year contract.

HTC has isued a new firmware build for its Hero handset, which should once and for all eliminate the lagging issue. One of the most common complaints regarding this handst was that it lagged when opening cerailn applications. Now this problem is fixed with the upgraded firmware version, 2.73.405.5, which is now available through the company's Danish website.

Future HTC Hero releases should have the latest OS installed.

You all know the awesomeness that was the HTC Touch HD, and now it will get even better. According to some sources, the sequel to the said handset will be Android-based, and will feature a more powerful 628MHz Qualcomm chip which is just perfect for running resource-hungry Sense UI and HD video on the 3.8" 480 x 800 display. Hopefully this is all true.

Its features are very basic, including the non-EV-DO radio, voice dialing, speakerphone, basic web access, and support for up to 500 contacts. The new Samsung W910 'VVIP' could be easily mistaken as an Armani-branded phone due to its unique design and golden shells. But it's not. However the actual W820 Armani model doesn't look that appealing, which makes us think they've lost their inspiration.

How did we miss this one. We're late, but anyway, according to the latest PR regarding the LG Chocolate Touch, the phone "will be released across the Europe in September and will be expanded to the rest of the world from October 2009".
