The Lumia 925 is in many ways a very minor upgrade over last year’s 920 device.
It has the same dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz, 1 gig of RAM and 2,000 mAh battery.
Though the thing is not entirely made of aluminum as some rumors suggested, it’s still a lot sexier than Nokia’s previous flagships, measuring 8.5 mm in thickness and weighing in at 139 grams.

Sony's Xperia ZR is finally official. It is a compact and slightly slower version of the original Z, though the new thing does step things up from one particular standpoint – the water protection.
The IP58 approval the device has received means you can leave the thing in up to 1.5 m deep water for days in a row and there won’t be any damage.
The device features a quad-core 1.

Samsung has started rolling out Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Tab 7.7 in selected Asian countries including Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Malaysia.
The official changelog hasn’t been released, but you can expect all of the Jelly Bean goodies, including improved and actionable push notifications, Google Now and Project Butter enhancements.

Huawei Ascend W1 has finally made its way to the US.
It will be available later this month at Walmart.com and at select Walmart stores across the country.
Alongside the new phone, the Chinese company is also launching “Huawei W1 ‘Make it Yours’ Music & Mobile Sweepstakes.” Beginning May 15, fans of the Huawei W1 and Jonas Brothers will be able to enter to win the smartphone, tickets to attend Jonas Brothers Tour concerts, and even a chance to meet the band in person.

AT&T has decided to pull the plug on the HTC First ‘Facebook phone’ after only being on the market for a few weeks, as the device is getting canned due to “shockingly bad” sales.
AT&T dropped the price of the phone to a meager $0.99.
Anyway, it's a bad sign for Facebook and HTC as both companies try to jock for its place in the lucrative mobile device market.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is reported to be receiving so much awaited Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.
Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Malaysia are said to have received the bump OTA.
So, in a matter of weeks every single Tab 7.7 user will be able to enjoy Google Now, Project Butter performance enhancements and all the Jelly Bean-specific goodies.

A new fellow of the entry-level Huawei devices category is reportedly ready to make its US debut, following previous releases in parts of Asia.
The Huawei Ascend W1, the Chinese company’s first Windows Phone 8 effort, has no exact price tag attached, but everything will be unraveled before the end of the month.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom has been caught at the Bluetooth SIG described as “Samsung Mobile Phone”.
Earlier reports suggested the Galaxy S4 Zoom will have a smaller-than-Galaxy S4 screen and 16x optical zoom, a quad-core processor alongside an array of sensors and radios.
Samsung may officially announce the Galaxy S4 Zoom in June.

Today, the Nokia Lumia 928 was officially announced for Verizon, and it will be hitting store shelves on May 16th for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and new two-year contract.
The Nokia Lumia 928 features a 4.5 inch OLED display, along with a 8.7 megapixel camera and both LED and Xenon flashes, and ofcourse a wireless charging.
