Nokia N900 has recently started shipping to Europe, the Middle-East, Russia and North America. It won't be available from carriers and is selling unlocked.

Documents found at FCC site revealed some information about the Motorola i680, a rugged clamshell for the Sprint Nextel network. The handset supports 800/900MHz iDEN bands, and has Bluetooth and GPS. Photos show that the i680 also comes with two displays, a camera with flash, microSD card slot and a headset jack. According to the draft user manual, other features include video capture, threaded messaging, audio/video media playback and PTX services.

Last week senior vice president of Samsung, Don Joo Lee, said that the company will no longer produce Symbian based phones and will limit its platform support to Android, Windows Mobile, and its own new Bada operating system.

LG has announced that they are prepping a Snapdragon-powered Android handset for the Korean market, which should be released sometime in Q2 2010. They said the device will be "more mature" than the GW620 Eve, whatever that means, but apart from that we have no info on its specs, pricing and the possible availability in other markets. Stay tuned.

Garmin has announced their plans on releasing an Android-based handset in 2010 at an event where the company reported their financial results for the Q3 2009 last week. They didn't reveal any info on the phone's features or pricing, so that's all we know for now. Stay tuned for more details.

Samsung has confirmed that its Behold II Android phone with TouchWiz 2.0 will become available to T-Mobile customers starting November 18 for $229 with new contract.

T-Mobile customers will soon be able to get their hands on the BlackBerry Bold 9700, namely on November 16. PhoneArena has posted a picture revealing the available prices for the handset, which will be the most expensive BlackBerry to be offered by the carrier.

Prices include:

• $199.99 on a two-year contract and Wi-Fi Calling;
• $449.

Sears is currently offering an instant $100 discount, plus an additional $50 off for new Verizon customers signing a 2 year contract for the Motorola DROID. That means you'll have to shell out just $149.99 instead of $300. Sounds like a great deal to us, though we'd expect a larger retailer to offer such a deal.

TELUS customers will be the first in Canada to get the new Motorola MILESTONE. The handset should be released in "early 2010", and will remain exclusive for some time. Nice to know that it supports North American 3G bands and multitouch out of the box.
