The new Samsung S9110 is the world's thinnest touchscreen cellphone. How come? That's because it's a wristwatch. It comes with a glass, scratch-proof touchscreen and stainless steel body, and packs the following features:

  • 1.76" touchscreen;
  • 11.98mm thick;
  • Bluetooth 2.1;
  • Outlook email sync;
  • MP3 player;
  • Speakerphone;
  • Voice recognition

The Samsung S9110 will be released by the end of this month in France for €450.

Nokia 6760 aka AT&T's Surge goes global

Nokia has announced the non-American version of it's new Surge handset. It is known as the 6760, and will feature all the specs it's U.S. twin offers:

  • 3.2Mpix camera;
  • 2.4" QVGA display;
  • AGPS;
  • S60 3.2;
  • microSD slot;
  • Side-sliding full QWERTY keyboard

The unlocked Nokia 6760 should be launched across Europe in this quarter for €199 (about $283).

HTC ‘Mega’ brand Revealed

WiFi Alliance has revealed a new previously unknown HTC handset brand. The HTC “MEGA” brand was mentioned in the WiFi Alliance’s latest handset certification documents, but has since been changed to “PB74 Series”, apparently because HTC wasn't too happy twith the fact that their unannounced handset brand was leaked by a third party.

T-Mobile to Offer Samsung Comeback and Gravity 2

T-Mobile and Samsung have announced today two new handsets, called Comeback and Gravity.

The Samsung Comeback is a messaging phone that has two displays, numeric keypad, and a sliding full QWERTY keyboard. It will be available in T-Mobile stores starting July 22 for $130 after rebate with a two-year contract.

The Samsung Gravity 2 comes with a numeric keypad on the front and is a sideways slider that also has a full QWERTY keyboard.

HTC Click spotted in the wild

|f you're looking for a cheap Android handset, look no further than the HTC Click. It hasn't been announced yet, but it's rumored to be working on Android OS, and we have a couple of live pictures of it here. We can't really tell whether all of this is real or not, but it's pretty much what we'd expect a low-end HTC Android phone would look like.

We don't have any details on the Click's release, pricing and specs, but we'll let you know once we get any additional info.

CDMA Toshiba TG01 passes FCC

CDMA Toshiba TG01 passes FCC

FCC has approved a CDMA version of the Snapdragon-powered Toshiba TG01 yesterday, which means that the first carrier to offer the device in the U.S. will be either Sprint or Verizon, or both. Furthermore, the test documents list the device as "production" (not prototype) suggesting that TG01 is almost ready for market. Now all that's left is to wait for a confirmation from carriers.
