Nokia's has released firmware updates for its E75 and E90 handsets, bumping the versions to 110.48.125 and 400.34.93, respectively. The company didn't publish any official change logs, but you can be sure the devices are now faster, more stable, and have some updated apps and new features on board.

You can update your handset through Nokia Software Updater, but don't forget to backup your data before proceeding.

Samsung has recently published some information about its new m340 Mantra clamshell for Virgin Mobile. The phone comes with a VGA camera, Bluetooth, dual-displays and basic messaging features, and is now available for $60 via the Virgin Mobile USA web site.

Boost Mobile has added a new color option to its Motorola Stature i9, which from now on will be available in red. It's available now for exactly the same price as the original dark bronze version - $299.99.

Apparently U.S. Cellular has plans on releasing a couple of new phones for its customers later this month. Someone has digged up dedicated pages for the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 and Samsung Code i220 on the company's site, and don't try to find them yourself, it's hard work. Here's a nice rumor for ya: there is a story on the Wall Street Journal Blogs which says that the Palm Pre will be available on Verizon Wireless in January 2010. As you know, for the next six months the device will be available exclusively from Sprint, but if Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam is to be believed, they'll be the next carrier to offer it. We'll wait and see.

As we expected, Verizon has released the long rumored Casio EXILIM C721 cameraphone for all its customers. The phone comes with a 5.1Mpix camera with autofocus, image stabilization, and a 3x optical zoom, and is fully compliant with mil-spec 810F for dust, shock, temperature, and water resistance. Other highlight include support for 8GB memory cards and compatibility with Verizon's VZ Navigator service.
