The new Alltel Hue cell phone manufactured by Samsung is now available online and from independent retailers across the US. The phone uses Alltel's Celltop technology to help users organize the information stored on the device and supports exchangeable faceplates. In addition, if you purchase an Alltel Hue now, you will also get an Alltel Snap flip-phone for free.

Virgin Mobile has presented its new Cyclops mobile phone. The handset is comes equipped with 1.2Mpixl camera, a dual display screen, support for mobile web, and SMS/MMS messaging. It can also be used as a speakerphone. The Cyclops phone costs just $59.99 ad is available from a Virgin Mobile authorized dealer.

The upcoming Sidekick 4 cell phone will probably be released under the name Shuriken. The rumor appeared after an excel file leaked in the Web several days ago. The other possible name for the device is Sidekick LX. The phone will first become available in the US, then in Australia and later in Germany and probably in the UK. The information above is not confirmed, just suppositions.

Samsung plans to launch soon its new GSM phone, called the SGH-G600. It was recently approved by FCC and claims to become a serious competitor to the Nokia N95. Similar to the Nokia N95, Samsung G600 comes with an integrated 5Mpix digicam. Also it has a microSD expansion slot, and includes some usual features such as media player, Bluetooth and USB interface for data sync.

We expect that the long-awaited Samsung SCH-i760 will soon become available from Verizon Wireless. There are several photos of the device displayed on the Verizon's official site. For those unfamiliar with the matter, Samsung SCH-i760 is a WM6-based smartphone with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard and a standard numeric keypad with d-pad on the front.

Verizon Wireless presents their new Music Manager software, which is basically a PC-based music player, an addition to Verizon's VCAST Music service. You can download the application from here . There are four sections available in the application to help manage the music: - "VCAST Buy Music" is a direct link to the VCAST Music Store;
- "Music on My PC" lists all the music in the Music Manager library that is located on the hard drive;
- "Music on My Phone" displays the files on the customer's phone (and memory card, if applicable) when connected to the PC;
- "Music on My CD" lists music from any audio CD inserted in the optical drive.

The myFaves service will soon become available in Germany at T-Mobile. It will allow users to call five of their most favorite friends for free. Of course, not all handsets will support myFaves, so some of you in Germany will have to replace your mobile devices to use it. LG are working on the second version of their Prada phone, which should become a serious competitor to the Apple iPhone. The new version will feature a 5Mpix camera with Xenon flash unlike the 2Mpix one on the iPhone, and HDSPA support, lacking on the Apple's handset. Other features will include a large 3" touch-screen display, MP3 player, FM radio, etc.

The upcoming Motorola PEBL U9 clamshell has joined the ROKR lineup and will be released under the name ROKR U9. The new model will feature an external color display with music controls similar to the RAZR2 and will support 3G networks. Unfortunately, that's all we know for now.
