Sprint is about to begin a new brand campaign on July 1 using the slogan "Sprint Ahead". The company will use TV, print and outdoor ads to promote their services, and the name Sprint Nextel will be changed to Sprint.

Samsung has developed a TV chipset that supports several different digital standards, like DVB-H/T, DAB-IP, ISDB-T, and terrestrial DMB. This chip converts analog signal (UHF, VHF, or L-band) into digital to make it compatible with the handset and offers users the ability to switch between different broadcasting services while running a single application.

A new photo of a future Sprint phone model has appeared. The device has a slider form factor and will probably be called the LG LX260. It will be available in two colors and will feature a QWERTY keyboard, 1.3Mpix camera, microSD slot, MP3 player, Stereo Bluetooth, built-in Instant Messenger and Email.

There is a rumor saying that the iPhone will support Nintendo games. They will be available through the iTunes store for $29 each. This rumor is not senseless, as Nintendo today has a large amount of games already working with a touch-screen on the Nintendo DS. Also we know that games will be targeted mostly at older audience so as not to block DS sales.

Sprint introduced the new LG Muziq cell phone, which should be available on July 15. The Muziq comes with all the same specs as its predecessor, the Sprint Fusic music phone, but has an updated design, featuring a sleeker shape with an internal antenna. Also, the music control pad on the cover has been updated a touch-sensitive unit with vibration feedback.
