There is an Interactive user guide of the second Chocolate phone available on the Verizon Wireless site. The new VX8550 model is a slightly updated version of the older VX8500 . Small changes are seen in the design and in a few features.

LG Electronics presented their LG-SH130 3G global roaming phone at the SEK (Solution & Contents Exhibition of Korea) 2007. This slider handset uses HSDPA connectivity and provides fast data transfers and global roaming.

There are very few technical details available about this one, and there is also no word on pricing and availability.

Apple announced that the upcoming iPhone will include a YouTube application that will wirelessly stream YouTube's content to the device over Wi-Fi or EDGE networks and play it on iPhone's display.

AT&T Video Share Service

AT&T will soon launch their new Video Share service that will allow users to share a one-way live video stream over their wireless devices during a voice call.

The service works exclusively over the AT&T 3G wireless networks and is now available in three initial U.S. markets: Atlanta, Dallas and San Antonio.

In late July it will expand to more than 160 U.

Opera has launched the new Opera Mini 4 (beta version) mobile web browser, which works on all Java-enabled handsets.

Opera Mini 4 claims to be two times faster than any other mobile browser, and has innovative features such as "zoom" or overview mode, allowing "people to browse their favorite websites, just like they do on their PC.

On-board mobile phone system for Airbus

Airbus planes will soon have cell-phone systems on-board. A GSM on-board system was recently approved by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and claims to be fully compatible with the aircraft environment.

This is a major step in the development of OnAir service (a joint venture between Airbus and SITA) that will enable passengers to use their BlackBerry-type devices and mobile phones during flights in Europe.
