AT&T and Samsung have officially announced the Galaxy S5 Active. This device looks a bit uglier but that extra ruggedness gotta count for something.
Specs wise, the S5 Active phone is pretty much the same as the regular Galaxy S5, boasting a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen, 16-megapixel main camera, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core chip, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. Android 4.4 KitKat is running the show with Samsung’s usual software running on top.
It is available in Camo Green, Titanium Gray and Ruby Red exclusively from AT&T for $199.99 with a two-year contract.
