Dell is refreshing its Venue Android tablets by dumping ARM-based for faster Intel-made chips.
The Venue 7 has dual-core 1.6GHz Atom Z3460 chip, while its bigger brother sports dual-core Atom Z3480 clocked at 2.1GHz.
The smaller device has a 1280×800 pixels display whereas the Venue 8 tops at 1920×1200 pixels. Both models feature Waves MAXXAudio Pro which should deliver “great sound quality,” as well as 1GB of RAM, dual cameras (5-megapixel main camera) and 16GB of expandable storage.
The Venue 7 and Venue 8 should hit the market on July 1st, with prices of $159.99 and $199.99, respectively.
