The earlier rumored HTC Desire 820 has been officially announced, and it rocks Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC.
Said chip comes with no less than eight cores, four of which are clocked at 1.5GHz and another four at 1.0GHz. There’s also 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 / 28mm lens, and a rather impressive 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Let’s not forget HTC’s BoomSound dual front speakers, optional LTE connectivity, and a 2,600 mAh battery.
Android 4.4 KitKat is running the show with HTC Sense 6 singing on top.
The Desire 820 will be available all around the world starting late September with users getting to choose between a number of glossy and matte color versions.
