HTC has long been rumored to be working on a new tablet under the Nexus brand, and it’s expected to arrive with top-notch hardware later this year.
Recently, in a legal document related to a patent lawsuit against Qualcomm and Samsung, it was revealed that Tegra K1 SoC is being used by several manufacturers, not just in smartphones, but in a wide rage of products, including the HTC Nexus 9.
The document clears up a few things. First, the Nexus 9 will be made by HTC, with Tegra K1 SoC for processing power.
Second, it mentioned that HTC Nexus 9 is expected to see the light of the day in the third quarter, which as we know is about to end in the next few weeks.
The alleged HTC Nexus 9 is said to come with a 8.9-inch 2048-by-1440 display, 4GB of RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera for photos and videos, and Android KitKat.
