BlackBerry has finally made its Porsche Design P’9983 smartphone official.
Although the pricing hasn’t been announced, chances are this will be an expensive device, one that will find its buyers among Middle East oil barons and Russian oligarchs.
Inside, the P’9983 packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Plus dual-core chip clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, 2,100 mAh battery and 64GB of internal storage.
In addition, the phone also boasts a 3.1-inch 720×720 touchscreen, 4G LTE connectivity support, NFC, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras. BlackBerry OS 10.3 is running the show.
P’9983 has a premium finish, a sapphire glass-protected camera lens, Porsche stainless steel logo and chassis, and what BlackBerry says is “a special glass-weave technology for the back door.”
