Galaxy Alpha was just a first phone in Samsung’s series of more premium looking devices. Other phones in this group won’t be high-end, though users should get a “great feel in the hand,” all while helping the Korean company keep its (high) margins.
Aside from the well-leaked Galaxy A5, this series will also count two additional members – Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A7. The former will be a lower-end model, while the latter will cater towards power users.
Devices in the A line-up will be sold to folks looking for form over function and are willing to sacrifice few features to get a device that feels more premium.
The Galaxy A7 is already in Samsung India’s testing facility, hinting us that the launch is imminent. Another proof of this comes in the form of leaked prices of all three devices; this rumor suggests that the Galaxy A3 will go for $350-$400, the A5 for $400-$450, and the A7 for $450-$500.
All three models will support 4G LTE connectivity and be unveiled in the next few days.
