BlackBerry has managed to move 200,000 Passport units on the first day of the phone’s availability. That, obviously, prompted the company to think about this model’s successor, even though it’s been selling for just a few days.
While announcing the company’s quarterly results, BlackBerry’s CEO John Chen stated that they are “confident that we will achieve breakeven cash flow by the end of FY15.”
Chen also promised to unveil a “new BlackBerry device concept” at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. No other details were provided and as far as we know, that could be a phone with “storable keyboard” BlackBerry has patented recently.
