The upcoming Nexus device, codenamed Shamu, will be apparently manufactured by Motorola.
Recently, the folks at Android Police managed to get more information about the alleged device, some of it was already known.
Motorola Shamu will indeed be called the Nexus 6, and will feature a massive 5.9-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels. They also shared a render of the device, which was created based on the information available with as much precision as possible.
It will feature a similar aluminium frame as the Moto X, a 13MP camera on the back with optical image stabilization, and a massive 3,200 mAh+ battery. The alleged device will also be compatible with Motorola’s Turbo charger, which is touted to provide 8 hours of usage after charging the device for just 15 minutes.
There’s no word if there’s a smaller Nexus in the pipeline or not, but the leads point to the phablet sized model.
