Archos unveiled its latest device at an event in Paris, France. Called Archos 50 Diamond. It’s a solid mid-ranger with specs that include a 5-inch full HD IPS screen, 16MP rear camera with LED flash, 8MP front-facing one, and Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC.
There’s also 2GB of RAM, Cat.4 LTE connectivity, dual-SIM support, and a 2,700mAh battery. Android 4.4.4 KitKat will run the show right from the get-go. Size wise, the 50 Diamond measures 146 x 70.4 x 8 mm, and has a weight of 146 grams.
The best part is the price: when Archos will launch the device in early 2015, it will be available for 200 EUR, making it one of the best phones that money could buy.
