The newly announced Motorola Droid Turbo will be hitting other parts of the world in the near future. Outside of the U.S., however, it will get a different name since “all things Droid” are reserved for Verizon Wireless and its stubborn marketing department.
The handset maker that is now officially part of Lenovo has started sending out invites for a November 5 event to make this news officially official.
Actually, we can’t be 100% certain which phone will be unveiled at that time, but the corner of the back shows Droid Turbo’s characteristic Ballistic Nylon back.
Back to the name; according to GSMarena’s sources, Verizon’s latest Droid will be sold as Moto Maxx, hinting us we should expect the big battery that is usually associated with the “Maxx” brand.
