Samsung has officially announced two of the earlier rumored Galaxy A smartphones, the A3 and A5, both of which boast a metal frame along the sides, the Galaxy A3 is an entry-level, whereas the A5 is going for the mid range of the market.
Specs wise, the A3 has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 4.3-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) screen, 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 1,900mAh battery. The A5 builds on top of that, adding an additional gig of RAM (for a total of 2GB), double the internal storage (16GB), 5-inch 720p HD screen, 13MP main camera, and a 2,300mAh battery.
Both models come with a microSD card slot, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 5 megapixel front-facing camera with wide-selfie option, 4G LTE support and the Ultra Power Saving Mode.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 will be available in select markets from November 2014, starting with China.
