BenQ plans to launch soon its first NFC-enabled handset, marked T80. This quad-band GSM smartphone runs on Windows Mobile 6, supports Wi-Fi connectivity and comes with a set of NFC applications stored on the included microSD card, which can be used also be used on other devices supporting NFC. One can use them as a Mobile Wallet, for transport ticketing (in Taipei), accessing private security systems, and more.
The exact release date is yet unknown, but we can be sure that T80 will be available in the U.S.
