British Android purists have had it pretty much as hard as Americans in their hunt for the newest, largest, beefiest Nexus smartphone.
Perhaps harder, given most third-party carriers and retailers taking N6 pre-orders around those parts can’t promise they’ll ship them before December.
At a first glance, the promotion goes like this – buy an on-contract Nexus 6, get a Motorola Moto 360 for free. If there really are no strings attached, you may as well cancel this year’s Black Friday. Nobody and nothing can beat this deal.
Of course, Vodafone UK can’t promise every N6 buyer a complimentary Moto 360. Just the first lucky 500. At the time of this writing, the promo is still good. That’s surprising, and almost a slap in the face of US-based Nexus lovers who’d gladly give an arm for a chance at a similar bargain.
Currently estimated to ship on December 5, the Nexus 6 + Moto 360 bundle on Vodafone can be purchased in exchange for a £19 upfront tax, with monthly plans as cheap as £39.50. The £19 fee can also be waived if you don’t mind paying at least £44.50 a month. The most generous plan includes unlimited minutes and texts and 20 GB of data, and costs £54.50, with no outright fees.
