Google has officially announced the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for Nexus devices line-up. The new operating system brings a number of new features and improvements on board, and should hit the Nexus family soon.
With the new update, users will be able to use multiple SIM cards on devices which support them. The latest update also brings improved device protection. In case you lose your device, the thief will have to login with the associated Google account to unlock it, even after doing a factory reset.
Android 5.1 also brings high-definition voice calling to get crystal clear voice, several performance improvements and fixes such as the ability to join Wi-Fi networks and control of your paired Bluetooth devices directly from Quick Settings, and much more.
