Apple has dropped the price for its 8GB iPhone by 1/3, and stopped the production of the 4GB model. In addition, the company has launched the new iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store, allowing customers to buy and download tracks and albums via Wi-Fi connection. Further more, expect a 3G version of iPhone to appear in November. This move is aimed at a sales increase ahead of holiday season, when the competition between handset producers will rise.
