The new Firefly glowPhone R100 has been approved by FCC. It is a cell phone designed specifically for kids and has no extra features besides making/receiving calls and sending text messages. Although we can still name several highlights, such as Mom Call and Dad Call quick keys, speakerphone, flashlight function, when the whole handset starts glowing, and ability to connect a wired headset. There is also a collection of pre-loaded wallpapers, ringtones and Java games. Pricing and availability details are yet unknown.
