Verizon Wireless introduced the new USB727 wireless broadband modem by Novatel Wireless. The device provides on-the-go access to Verizon Wireless' national high-speed wireless broadband network, and is compatible with Windows (Vista, XP, 2000), Mac and Linux operating systems. Just plug the modem into a Type A USB port and you're ready to go. In addition, there is a microSD slot for data storage supporting up to 4GB. The USB727 is now available for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract. The BroadbandAccess service costs $59.99 a month with a 1- or 2-year service agreement.
