Samsung presents its first dual SIM cell phone, the D880 Duos, targeted at the European market.
There are various situations when two SIMs can come in handy. Both cards can work at the same time for calls, messages, mobile browsing, email, and carrier specific services, you just have to select which card you want to use at the time.
When you receive a call, the phone will display which card is used at the moment. One can also set different ringtones for each SIM. Other features include a 2.3" QVGA screen, a 3.2Mpix camera, an FM radio, Bluetooth with A2DP, tri-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, and some sort of flash storage, most likely microSD.
The D880 Duos will be available in Europe in November for $700.
