Nokia will add a new application to its E and N series phones that will allow users to access Wi-Fi hotspots much easier. The new software, developed by Devicescape, will automatically recognize when the phone has entered a Wi-Fi hotspot, and will use its DNS protocol to send a request to Devicescape, which will verify the user's log-in information and connect the handset to the network. So in order to use the client, one must create an account. The program is also available for download.
