Apple is experiencing some problems with the launching of its iconic iPhone handset in Canada. First of all, a Toronto-based company Comwave Telecom, which offers a set of VoIP services and products in Canada under the name iPhone, has filed an opposition with the CIPO (Canadian Intellectual Property Office) to Apple's trademark application to distribute the device in the country under its original name. Secondly, Apple still hasn't signed the agreement with Rogers Wireless, the only Canadian carrier to use the GSM network. Tough luck, Apple.
