AT&T has announced the launch of their 3G network in Oahu, Hawaii. It is available via AT&T's USB/PCMCIA/ExpressCard modems through Media Net, the company's mobile Web portal. Now customers will be able to browse all kinds of wireless content with 3G speeds while enjoying their vacation. Revoltingly, the Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo helped AT&T with implementing 3G in Hawaii, but for some reason the company didn't mention that.
