HTC Iris is a new yet unannounced smartphone that has been recently approved by the FCC. It is a CDMA EV-DO WM6-based handset similar in design to the Palm Treo 500v or Android prototype. The device also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and comes with a landscape QVGA screen and QWERTY keyboard, 2Mpix camera, a microSD card slot, and very large battery. According to FCC documents, Verison Wireless is the most likely carrier for the HTC Iris.
