AT&T has Purchased Dobson Communications

AT&T announced it has acquired Dobson Communications and will start transitioning the Cellular One network to AT&T in December.

With Cellular One AT&T will be able to extend its home network in many rural areas. Most Dobson stores will begin offering AT&T phones and rate plans starting December 9.

Of course, this transition won't affect existing Dobson Cellular One customers allowing them to keep their current rate plans and service.
