AT&T to Purchase Edge Wireless

AT&T announced it will buy Edge Wireless, a regional GSM operator in Northwest Pacific.

The amount of the deal is unknown at the moment.

AT&T will add 172,000 existing Edge customers to its own subscriber base and will be able to provide them with better cellular coverage.
