Virgin Mobile USA Enables Over-the-Air Activation for Mobile Phones

Now customers of Virgin Mobile USA will be able to activate their newly acquired handsets over the air.

The activation is done automatically and doesn't require users to enter any information or to call customer service. Virgin Mobile USA expects that this will speed up the activation process and reduce customer support costs.
