While everyone waits for the CES 2008 that will take place in January, Samsung decided to go ahead and unveil two of its new handsets in Ukraine. They are the F490 and the lower-end P720. The first one is a 3G HSDPA-capable phone with a huge 3.2" 432 x 240 resolution touch-screen with tactile feedback, a 5Mpix camera, Wi-Fi, and probably as usual Bluetooth, external storage, etc. It should cost around $600. The Samsung P720 comes with a 2.6" touch-screen (tactile feedback is also present), 3Mpix camera, dual SIM card support, Bluetooth, and a microSD slot. The price should be not higher than $500. Both phones will be released in Q1/Q2 2008. We expect more details to pop up during the upcoming CES 2008 event, so stay tuned.
