LG KE800 Chocolate Platinum is the second generation of the popular stylish phone former known as KG800 and LG upgraded version of the chocolate’s GPRS to EDGE. The phone now looks much slimmer with the profile of 9.9mm (0.39”) instead of 15.2mm (0.6”) which is 35% slimmer. As well the handset has doubled the internal memory (256MB instead of 128) and has microSD slot for memory in addition, also there is a 2-megapixel camera with auto-focus and macro mode, besides music player there is FM radio . The phone now supports stereo Bluetooth.
Tri-band frequency support is regarded as the main disadvantage of the KE800 phone, which doesn’t make it fully usable in the States, where its CDMA version is exclusively available from Verizon Wireless.
