Verizon's Samsung U740 is Now Known as "Alias"

Following its new trend to replace model numbers with words, Verizon has renamed the Samsung U740 into "Alias".

No explanation was given for the name change.

Just to remind you, the SCH-U740 aka Alias is a thin clamshell phone with a 1.3-megapixel camera with flash and camcorder, Bluetooth capabilities, expandable microSD card slot and extensive voice commands. It also features a 2.2-inch, 176 x 220 px TFT display.
