Research In Motion came up with a new lock-and-key system for its BlackBerry smartphones that have an on-board camera.
The idea is to lock-down and disable the camera while users stay in the office in order to prevent any corporate info leakages. RIM has filled in a patent application with the intention to implement the idea in practice. Time will tell.
It would be rather amusing to see the camera lock in reality. :)
