Virgin Mobile UK has announced a new pre-paid SIM-only calling plan, called "The Liberty SIM". If you already have a GSM phone and just need a pre-paid SIM card, this plan is for you. Now subscribers can enjoy cheaper wireless rates, from which the price of the phone is excluded. The company offers 300 wireless minutes and 300 SMS messages or 150 wireless minutes and 1000 SMS messages for the same price of 15GBP. And the 30-day cancellation policy provides almost pre-paid flexibility.
In addition, Liberty SIM subscribers in the UK willing to upgrade to a new handset are welcome to use the Liberty SIM upgrade allowance. It works like this: for every 100GBP you spend, you’ll get 10GBP towards the purchase of a new Virgin Mobile branded handset.
