Nokia unveiled two new entry-level CDMA handsets with support for 1700 MHz (AWS) band.
- The first is the Nokia 1606, a basic clamshell cell phone with 8MB of internal memory, flashlight, 1.8" internal 262k color and external monochrome displays, and a battery, which provides up to 3.5 hours of talk and 10 days of standby time.
- The second model is the Nokia 3606, still a low-end phone, but a little more advanced. It has a 1.3Mpix camera, Bluetooth, 15MB of internal memory with expansion via microSD slot, and a music player.
Both phones will be available sometime in Q3 2008. Pricing and future carriers weren't announced.
