Samsung introduces SPH-P9000 at WiMax Summit

Samsung presented the SPH-P9000 Deluxe MITs, the latest in mobile convergence device. The SPH-P9000 was introduced at the Mobile WiMax Summit 2006. The SPH-P9000 is a PDA-based device using Mobile WiMax and CDMA EV-DO connectivity for wireless access to the Internet and simultaneously providing mobile phone connection for voice communication. Having Microsoft Windows XP as the operating system, users have the contents and applications familiar and easy to use for work and play. You can easily type and surf the Net by means of integrated a QWERTY keyboard, MP3 player function, VOD, and camera function provide a quick access to multimedia entertainment.

The device has the 5.0-inch WVGA screen, the 30 GB hard drive stores music, movies, and documents. The unique device combines different features and having a weigh a little over one pound. The SPH-P9000 is going to be launched in Korea first half of 2007.
