Apple to launch 3G iPhone in Japan and Korea?

There are rumors saying that Apple plans to enter the Korean and Japanese markets with their 3G iPhone on hands.

As supposed previously the upcoming handset would not be fully compatible with Japan's 3G network. But this appears to be false, as Apple intends to release its next-generation iPhone simultaneously in both Korea and Japan on Korea Free Telecom (KTF)'s and NTT DoCoMo's 3G networks, respectively.

Now all that remains is to see how well the iPhone will be accepted in Eastern Asia. I just wonder if they will ever bring the iPhone to China...
