Telstra subscribers in Australia will soon be able to get their hands on the Apple iPhone 3G. The handset will be available starting July 11 at a price of $279 for the 8GB model or $399 for the 16GB model and will come with a 2-year contract.
The carrier also announced Next G iPhone 3G plans, which start from $30 per month and include free Wi-Fi access at Telstra hotspots. Those who subscribe for the $80 plan, will get the 8GB iPhone 3G for free, while the 16GB version will be available at no cost for those who choose a $100 (or higher) plan.
