There is an announcement from Google's CEO saying that mobile phones should be free and monetized by advertising.
Schmidt told Reuters: "Your mobile phone should be free. It just makes sense that subsidies should increase" as advertising rises on mobile phones. Although Schmidt noted that Google isn't currently making anything for this to happen.
As we are aware the CEO reported that he is sure that in terms of Google search volume, mobile phones are going to overstep PCs in only a few years.
