According to Apple Insider, Microsoft plans to launch its own equivalent to the AppStore called Skymarket. The upcoming service will be integrated in Windows Mobile 7, so the launch is expected in 2009. Seeing the popularity of the Apple's marketplace service, the move of Microsoft is justified, not to mention that Google will soon also be launching their own commercial service called Android Marketplace.
