Verizon Wireless and LG Electronics Co. launched Famous LG Chocolate VX8500 phone in two colors as people say in “red” and “green”. Companies mean the colors stand for “mint” and “cherry” colors - explained as “flavors” connected between the plastic-and-metal handsets and the edible treat. All of the colors retain the same features.
All of the colors are getting a new price, $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and new service contract. Verizon Wireless and LG also announced that current owners of Chocolate handsets may obtain a free software upgrade at carrier stores that provides speakerphone functionality.
