At the ITU Telecom World 2006 in Hong Kong Samsung Electronics announced the new Windows Smartphone - the SGH-i718. FCC recently approved the handset. The Samsung SGH-i718 uses Windows as its OS and is a GSM, EDGE handset. It has a 2.8 inch Touchscreen and is around 108x58x13.5 mm. There are also such features as: 2-megapixel camera with Auto focus, MPEG4, H.263, WMV, AAC, AAC+, MP3, WMA, WAV support, Bluetooth v2.0 EDR, Handwritten text and voice recognition.
