It looks like Acer's upcoming smartphone is nothing more than a rebranded Glofiish DX900 by E-Ten, which was by the way acquired by Acer a while ago. It still features dual-SIM support, GPS, a 3Mpix camera, and a 2.8" VGA touchscreen display, while running on Windows Mobile 6.1.
In other words they'll probably push an old device as a new one. Hopefully, news from MWC 2009 will clarify the situation.
