Verizon Wireless has officially announced today that the Samsung Trance, as mentioned previously will be available for purchase starting Friday, April 24th at a price of $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate on a 2-year contract.
The Trance is a mid-range music phone packed with the following features:

- 1GB of Internal memory dedicated to Music, up to 16GB microSD expansion;
- 3.5mm headset jack;

- V CAST music with Rhapsody support;
- Music Player for MP3, WMA & unprotected AAC & unprotected AAC+ Formats;

- Sync music from PC to phone (over the air music downloads are not supported);
